I
Im Sorry that the above advise didn’t worked as you have thought but the really intention of mine was to see how many of you will take time to see the post or I must say, are really curious with this offer of becoming Famous or Popular in such a short time. But if you have read this long then I must say that its alright, no one refuse such offer. Today everybody wants their piece of 60 seconds to Fame. Ya FAME i.e. To be noticed, to be wanted, to be loved, to be imitated / copied, to be followed and have others care about what you’re doing, even what you had for lunch that day: that’s what people want. Once upon a time, children aspired to be teachers, bankers, doctors but with the phenomenon of Facebook, Youtube, Reality shows for Singing and Dancing, now they just want to be celebrities and it does not matter whether they are an expert or an amateur. For anyone with access to Mass media or simple internet connection, today the whole world is a big theater to perform their talent.

Since most of Us have access to Mass media & Internet, now the next big question is HOW DO I MAKE PEOPLE NOTICE ME.

So I did some research (again in Internet) to see how certain people shot to fame overnight and found some interesting facts which I am sharing it down for others to follow.

1.         Im starting here with a person who is so famous now that most of us can’t even believe that once he was not so famous and had shot to fame overnight, please welcome Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, whose creation the social networking site Facebook (which gives me all the reasons to waste my time in it). As of January 2011, Facebook has more than 600 million active users. In 2010, Zuckerberg was named Time magazine's Person of the Year and his personal wealth was estimated to be $13.5 billion. So, the secret of his Fame “Find something popular and invent it”.

2.         Simon Watkinson and Jodie Bredo are next on my list, the Lady luck has descended upon William and Kate Middleton look-alikes and they are cashing it on the Royal Wedding with their newfound celebrity status. Simon Watkinson has been dubbed by the media as "the world's best Prince William look alike and is often mistaken in public for the future King. Jodie Bredo a personal assistant hailing from Chelmsford has been a Kate look alike for two years and went 'full time' just a couple of months back. After the great Royal Wedding of Britain they are in great demand these days, they do photo shoots and attend corporate events and are charging up to £1,000 a day. They both recently starred in the T-Mobile Royal Wedding Dance video which has been viewed nearly 20 million times on YouTube. Simon and Jodie Bredo are not the only ones. There are others like Andy Walker and Kate Bevan who too enjoy their 'celebrity' status. “Look Popular” is their Fame secret.

3.         He is the most feared man in the world today after Laden and might soon be declared the Enemy No. 1. No, no, he is not a terrorist but in contrary he works for the public, so please welcome leader of the leak, Julian Paul Assange, editor in chief of WikiLeaks, a whistleblower website and conduit for worldwide news leaks, with the stated purpose of creating open governments. Assange has received a number of awards and nominations, including the 2009 Amnesty International Media Award for publishing material about extrajudicial killings in Kenya and Readers' Choice for Time magazine's 2010 Person of the Year. Today he is everywhere in the News, the more he reveals the more popular he becomes. In December 2010 Assange sold the publishing rights to his autobiography for over £1 million. He changed the outlook of hacking, though its still not clear whether its ethical hacking or not, debate is going on within the government organizations. His Fame secret is “Leak to Popularity”.

4.         A video of a Girl performing a cover of "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga was posted to her sister's YouTube channel to showcase her talent to friends and family. The video caught Lady GaGa's attention and she was so impressed by Maria's performance that she retweeted a link to the video. In 6 days, her video reached over 28 million views. Lady Gaga then invites an already surprised  Maria Aragon to perform "Born This Way" with her at The Monster Ball Tour concert in Toronto and again at the Air Canada Centre, where they performed an acoustic duet of "Born this Way" with she sitting on Gaga's lap, playing piano and Lady Gaga working the pedals. Aragon later rejoined Lady Gaga and her team of back up dancers for an uptempo finale version of "Born this Way". Sounds unrealistic and some bollyhood type but sometimes truth is stranger then fiction. Not only Maria Aragon, its the same story with Susan Boyle, a single 47 year old Scotswoman who lived with a cat called Pebbles, she auditioned for the reality TV Show Britain’s Got Talent where she claimed had never been kissed and had a dream that one day she might be as successful as the singer she idolized, Elaine Paige and when the astounding clip was released on Youtube, her life changed forever. Same is the story of Justin Bieber, the 16 year old Canadian singer who was transformed into a global superstar after posting homemade videos of himself singing on YouTube at age of 12. The videos went viral and soon attracted over a million hits, landing Bieber a major record deal, a platinum album and screaming fans. Though there a many who have made is large through there dancing and singing but the most amazing thing of these three people is their age, it shows that age bracket is not the factor for Popularity, one can be of any Age. Their Fame secret is “A Song in the Home is worth Million hits in the YouTube”.

So those of You who have read this far, My advise is that don’t lose hope if your having a difficult times, you never know when Lady Luck will shine on you. Just don’t lose Hope.
